Friday Afternoon, August 15th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

It was another warm day at the Pickleball Courts, starting slowly at shortly after 1:00 with one court, growing to two then for a short time Tim and I challenged Jeremy and Layla of Amherst to a game using a third court! I did not get any report on play yesterday as I was absent, playing some golf with Dianne!

It was great to have Terry and his daughter, Melissa join us as well as John Neilson with his energetic play! Unfortunately his father, Brian who came out to watch was unable to play due to a baseball injury... He should know better and save himself for pickleball, right???

Play continued until just past 2:30 when the heat drained most of us...

Hopefully the cooler morning play tomorrow will see the numbers come out!

There are a number of our players in tournament play this weekend, so we wish them well, and have fun! Look forward to hearing how they made out!
