Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Thurs. 9am, July 30th, 2026
To all the fair weather players, we had two courts busy this morning starting at 9:00 and finishing up around 10:30 (when the rain started). We welcomed Yves Gautreau's brother and wife visiting from Quebec. Although quite new to the game, they caught on quickly! See you on the courts! Frank Oulton

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Wed. 6pm, July 22th, 2026
A full group of 28 pickleballers hit the courts this evening. Great to see soooo many out. Maybe we need to setup some additional times in the evenings? The morning times are sparsely attended, if at all. All are welcome to do that on their own via playtime scheduler... See you on the courts! Heather

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Wed. 6pm, July 8th, 2026
Wednesday evening play time showed a massive turnout of 23 players, so the group is still thriving. Summer turnout has been sporadic, some times have seen zero attendees. That is to be expected. Please help your fellow players out by using playtime scheduler and signing up/checking in to the app for times you expect to take part in. This helps everyone plan their play time and allows singles to find a game and not be dissappointed by showing up to a play time and finding no o

July 3 (Friday) Wind Screens fixed by Town Employees. Thanks for the quick response!
Dear Pickleballers and Group Members, We as a Pickleball group want to thank the town and specifically Pete Leblanc and Corey Johnson for showing up and doing the work to put up more and stronger zip ties to repair the damage caused by high winds. We have also included a photo fo Heather Estabrooks doing some work earlier in June to help secure the wind screens. The Tantramar Pickleball Group Committee (Josh, Magi, Heather and Timothy)

July 2 (Thurs) Wind Screens are being fixed!
Dear Pickleballers and Group Members, In case you have noticed, the winds caused some damage with the wind screens. Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Week of June 17th to 24th, 2026
While the weather may be a bit more rainy than usual, it most certainly isn’t dampening the fun of pickleball! Over the last week we’ve been averaging around 20 people each session. It’s a great combination of regular players, visitors from as far away as BC and some newer faces (though their level of play doesn’t indicate new to the game). Monday evening was a perfect evening to play. A slight breeze, sunshine, warm temps and a great crew of people. We were having so much fu

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Sat, June 6, 2026
There were 20 people at the outdoor courts this morning and everyone is very happy to see the wind screens in place. Many thanks to the town. They make for better pickleball with better visibility and a little shelter from the wind. Unfortunately there was some vandalism and garbage on the courts. We are sad to see we have people in Sackville who think it is OK to destroy things that are not theirs. Help us by keeping an eye out and don't be afraid to warn people that are in

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Mon, June 8, 2026
What a perfect night to play pickleball! The sun was out, there was a slight breeze and the sound of pickleballs being played echoing around us. We had a great combination of regular players, a couple of folks we hadn’t seen for a while (welcome back!), and a few new faces. We kept all four courts active for most of the evening. We heard there was a good crowd of 21 people out on Saturday. This morning when Tim and I were working on adding additional ties to the windscreens t

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Sun, May 24, 2026 Competitive
Our second outdoor Sunday competitive session happened today. It was much better attended then last Sunday when we only had 8. Great play was had by the 22 players in attendance and there wasn't a lot of waiting. Mostly blue skys and 20 C but there was enough wind for all to wish the wind screens were in place. I know the experienced plays really enjoy the competitive sessions and like that we are exploring these type of sessions to ensure everyone gets to play the level of p

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Sat., May. 9, 2026
Our second outdoor Saturday happened today. It was lightly attended but great play was had the 10 players in attendance. The wind screens are not up yet but there is a committment from the town to have them up before this weekend. The courts are in great shape and are really pretty clean. The areas pressure washed last May look particular colorful and there are some areas (where water stays) that are a bit brownish but still fine. The town is looking at doing some cleaning bu

May 12 (Tues) MTA Gym Availability Issue!
Dear Pickleballers and Group Members, We have sent a message as part of the committee to our town counterparts for improved communication from Mt A. We received no notification that the gym would be closed to us this morning. We are wrapping up our indoor play until fall but hoping by the time we start up again in October these glitches will be resolved. Thanks all for your patience and we appologize to all Pickleball players who were inconvenienced today! We will do everyt

Pickleball - Outdoor Courts - Sat., May. 2, 2026
Outdoor pickleball officially started today, though I hear the nets had been up for 3 or 4 days and some people had already gotten some enjoyment in playing outside. Good for you. I am a strong believer that pickleball is more fun outside on dedicated courts, sunshine and even a little breeze for variety and an extra challenge. We had 14 people participate at in this first group day out and hopefully we will have many more before summer sets in. The courts looked good and see
