Friday afternoon, September 26th - MTA Gym

Hi all

We had three courts busy starting about 1:00 at the MTA Gym, with many of the regular Friday crew. Amit, a Mount A student who I have met playing basketball gave pickleball a try, and I am sure he was welcomed into our group although I did not get to play with him.

Numbers reduced to two courts close to 3:00, and play continued just past the 3:00 with one court. Tim Hicks and I outlasted Gary and Arsh in the last game I have to report on, which included some high powered smashes that Tim and I were lucky enough to avoid. When I left Tim and Saeed were battling Gary and Arsh, so you will have to ask them how that ended...

Next play will be tomorrow, Saturday morning at 9:00 at the outdoor courts... then at Salem at 8:00 on Monday evening.

ALSO, a reminder heads up about the Mount A gym being closed next Tuesday, September 30 for Truth and Reconciliation Day - so play will be at the outdoor courts, weather permitting...
