Dear Pickleballers playing at Mt A-
The info below outlines recent changes to parking a vehicle in one of the university lots. These changes impact those on campus during Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday sessions between ONLY the months of September and April. At this time, you don’t need a parking permit in May, June, July, or August.
Beginning Monday March 2 you will need a parking permit to use university lots. Enforcement will be gentle as Mt A transitions to the new system, so we have been told.
You may want to consider hourly, daily, or a monthly permit depending on how much you play. If you choose NOT to park on the Mt A campus lots you should follow the town’s parking rules, which consist of free parking on designated street spaces or town lots for 2 hr or less. We imagine that free spaces may be at a premium in the beginning (also with lots of construction) and so give yourself plenty of time to find a parking space and also walk to the gym.
