Jan 8th - Mt A Pickle Ball

There were 5 active courts on the go with 23 players out in total. We suspect road conditions hindered a few of our regulars from being there so please know you were missed and we hope to see you soon.

It’s been great to see Paul V out playing again. He hasn’t lost his pickleball shot touch!

Pickleball has to be one of the few sports where, despite the competitive nature of the game, there is laughter and cheering of good shots by your opponents.

With the gym being available, there were a few who played until after noon hour. These games were very close and there may have been some extra dance moves incorporated into the play as a result of music coming from the basketball side of the gym. Those young fellows seem to like some great “before their time” music.

We received a request a couple of days ago from the town and Mt A to remind our players to please leave their outdoor footwear outside of the gym doors. We’re sure this was just a slight oversight but committed to passing the message along.
