Saturday morning, October 25th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

To say it was a great morning for pickleball on our outdoor courts is an understatement. And with Brent Boddy putting out the call for players via this blog and the Playtime Scheduler, there was a wonderful response with all four courts busy from the 10:00 o'clock start time, with even a couple of courts starting up prior to 10:00...

It was great to see Terry and Melissa, Nirav, Brent, Josh, Agnes, Pam, Karen, Chris, Catherine, Tim, Heather, Fred, Betty Jo, Angela, Mona, Kirk, Rahil and new players Hoa, Ben and another (forgot her name)...I think I got everyone, but I apologize if I didn't...

Hoa, Ben and the other were new to this scheduled playtime, and Pam was on top of welcoming them to our group and showing them how to rotate in with the other players after a game was played... It looked like it worked out well for everyone. Well done Pam!

In one of the early games we have a infrequent ATP shot used by Tim to win the rally, but unfortunately not the game. Quite the thrill though for Tim. In another game I partnered up with Agnes versus Josh and Angela. The game was tight and fortunately we won with one of those tick off the net shots. We did say sorry (I think)...

There were still 4 courts busy when I left at about 12:30... So everyone had fun enjoying this beautiful day.

Next scheduled play is on Monday night at Salem and then Tuesday morning at the MTA Gym...
