Thursday morning, August 28th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

Play started shortly after 9:00 with two courts busy, then turned into three! The weather was perfect this morning and the play was a close second... Play rotated quite well and reduced to two courts then to one court of the most faithful. I believe a few stayed later than planned to allow Ethan some play, as he slept in and was a late arrival.

Corinna showed up to cheer us on donning colorful arm bands! She was in good spirits but will be out for a few weeks!

Now, talking about celebrities, our very own Paul and Pam were selected to have their photo used to promote the Fall Fair! With this much effort by the Municipality we will have to get out early to beat the crowds!

In the last couple games when play ended up on one court, Richard and Pam were victorious over Pamela and Ethan, and then in the final game of the morning it took overtime at a score of 12-10 for Pamela and myself to come out on top of Ethan and Pam!

Next scheduled play is tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 and then on Saturday morning at 9:00...

The Park should be busy with the welcome corn boil for new Mount A students happening mid morning!
