Thursday morning, October 16th - MTA Gym

Hi all

Play started right at 9:00 today thanks to a number of elves who arrived early to set up three nets, then by 9:30 we required a fourth net to be set up... at about 10:00 there were five waiting so we set up net number five, but may have been too optimistic as this fifth net was used only once... anyway that court was an exciting competition with Brent and Jocelyne competing against Dawn and myself... score bounce back and forth, ultimately securing a win for Brent and Jocelyne!

It was great to welcome Brent back, as well as Kirk, Dawn, Heather and Tim...and Tony was back for more action... to play with our regular group...

Shortly after 11:00 play was reduced to two courts which finished at about 11:30, when Fred and Steve battled to a close victory versus Brent and myself 11-9 holding the winners to match point for several rallies!

Play continues tomorrow at the MTA gym at 1:00 and with the outdoor courts still available on Saturday morning, weather permitting!
