Thursday morning, September 4th - Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

It was another great morning of sun and a gentle breeze for pickleball this morning with three courts busy most of the time with a couple of spares until about 11:00. It was great to have Janet and Steve back and I had the pleasure to play with and against both! Although they have been concentrating on their golf game and a lot of time with their precious grandsons this summer, they were back in great force! Also with us this morning was Magi's favourite brother, who was there to enjoy watching! You picked a great morning to come out!

In the second to last game saw Monique and I coming out on top versus Agnes and Jocelyne... It was a battle to have Monique partner up with me, as she usually likes to be on the other side! Great rallies and great play!

The final game saw Pam and I partner up versus Brent and Debbie with the score going back and forth, with Pam and I outlasting a somewhat tired Brent. He did say he planned on taking a nap when he got home. The sun and the fresh air can have a great effect on you!

We  play again on Friday afternoon at 1pm and at 9am Saturday morning.  We have requested the Town to confirm our Fall/Winter schedule for the MTA and Salem gyms, no word yet but should hear this week.
