Tuesday morning, August 12th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

Pickleball started slowly this morning just past 9:00. Was it because of the heat??? We started with one court, developed into two and then by close to 10:00 three courts were active. The third included Pamela, who showed up without her paddle because she just had her pins removed from her wrist. She could not sit still, went to get her paddle and was only going to rally back and forth without playing a game... But she just had to get back into play, and from what I see she made out fine... playing for about an hour!

Josh reported that play on Monday night was quite active on three courts, but I have no scoring to report! and on Monday I am pleased to report that Logan and Chris were representing the Pickleball group well picking up furniture and more for the Sackville Food Bank Second Chances Thrift Store!

Because of the heat, players left early with only one court busy for the last couple of games that lasted until close to 12:00.

In the second to last game saw Heather and Josh up against Pam and Ethan. Not sure the final score but it was a tight one.

The last game saw Ethan and myself battling Josh and Tim, with J & T battling back to take the game 11-9.

Next outdoor play is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 then Thursday morning at 9:00...

Here is hoping for a break in the heat and maybe some rain!
