Tuesday morning, August 19th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

Pickleball started shortly after 9:00 with all four courts busy for most of the morning. Play rotated quite well, with very little time to sit with exactly 16 out for most of the time... It was a little cool to start and the sunny courts were a better temperature, but by 11:00 the temperature was good with a gentle sometimes fun gust of wind! And talking of wind, when Brent left he said he was going to take advantage of the wind and do some kite flying when he got home! Great idea!

It was great to see Kirk back from their vacation cottage in Alma, and Pamela was back playing carefully with a bandage on her off hand! BUT today was Logan day at Trueman Blueberry Farms, so he left a little early to indulge himself with lots of ice cream. When Larry and Eudora left, Larry mentioned that they were on their way for ice cream too!

When I left at close to 11:30 Debbie and Steve were in a close match versus Richard and Heather! Next play is scheduled for Wednesday evening and then Thursday morning!
