Tuesday morning, August 26st - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

Pickleball started shortly after 9:00 with two courts busy, then a third playing a three person game! We started on the far courts because the near courts did have a line of moisture from the much needed rain last evening... and I assume there was no play on Monday evening due to the on and off showers... We wish for a downpour but we will take any amount of rain we can get!

Because of the construction, players have searched out new parking spots and some have resorted to using spaces on Main Street on the far side of Bill Johnstone Park! Steve and I did not have any problem finding a parking spot for our bikes!

Susan arrived mid morning, and I thought she was going to take a couple of our players away, but she put her sneakers on and did some dinking, not quite ready for a game as she is nursing a sore shoulder. We wish her well with recovery and look forward to her full return!

In the second to last game of the morning saw Catherine and Kelly come out on top versus Lisa and Monique, and as I was leaving at about 11:00, Richard and Lisa were battling Kelly and Monique...

Next time for play is tomorrow evening at 6:00 and then again on Thursday morning at 9:00!
