Tuesday morning, October 14th - MTA Gym

Hi all

We started shortly after 9:00 with three courts busy, which turned into a fourth court by about 9:30. We welcomed Tony Wood in for the first time, and he caught on quite fast having a racketball background. He is still trying to catch onto the rules and doubles play, but he has the ability and determination to work at his game. Many of our regular group was there.

I had to leave early, so I do not have any scores to report other than playing with and against Tony, games were competitive and close. In another game when partnered up with Don, we both looked like rookies missing serves and shots we usually have no problem with. Oh, well... there are days like that! and what about those Blue Jays???

Next play is at the Salem gym tomorrow evening at 8:00 and again on Thursday morning at the MTA gym.
