Tuesday morning, October 28th - MTA Gym

Hi all

We had four courts active this morning at the MTA gym... It was great to have Rosemary and Steve's (of Steve and Janet) sister Debbie join us for the first time in a while, along with the many regulars of our group. There was talk about players staying up for the World Series game last night which went into extra innings, finishing in 18. Is that why Don was not out this morning, since his Dodgers came out on top???

There were many exceptional rallies I was involved with today, but I report that when I was playing with Mona, she scored on the ever elusive ATP shot in our game versus Kelly and Chris. Chris was not to be overdone though returning a shot that ticked off the net and dropped for score in the very next rally! Fortunately for us, we did come out on the winning end of that game.

It was great to see Tony progressing with his game, and we now can challenge him with more intensity shots! I think with time and his dedication, we are going to be in trouble soon with him. Fortunately, I got to play with him in one the games this morning.

I left a little early to work with Jessica from the town recreation department, in organizing a learn to play Pickleball for the Girls Get Active program she is running on the outdoor courts... Thanks goes to fellow pickleball players Heather, Tim, Pam, Monique, Catherine and maybe others who will be there to help out...

When I left there were still three courts busy... You will have to check out with the players for scores and play...

Next play is tomorrow evening at the Salem Gym and then again on Thursday morning at the MTA gym...
