Tuesday morning, September 16th - Outdoor Courts

Hi all

Well, did we ever have a great weather morning for pickleball! Play started this morning at 9:00 with two courts busy, which quickly built up to four courts with 3 or 4 extras. There was not too much waiting to be had much of the morning, and I found myself sitting after the maximum two games to enhance rotation, only to sit for a very short time!

It was great to welcome Mona and Kirk back from their summer cottage in Alma, but I do believe Mona said they were going back...Anyway, it was good to see and play with both of you... Eldon made his way out and even though I did not get to play with him, it looked like he was out for most of the morning and retired a bit tired! Janet was back out from the Island making another visit with her grandchildren... At about 11:00 we were down to three courts, which eventually reduced to two... In one of the earlier games, I would like to report that Steve missed the ever so fun ATP by the smallest of margins!

In the final game of the morning saw Brent and Monique battle back from a lopsided score versus Steve and I to eventually come up short 11-8...

There was a Yeti water bottle left behind that I took home with me and will bring it back to the courts on Thursday morning... If it is yours, or you recognize whose it might be, please contact me to pick it up earlier, if so desired.

Group play continues tomorrow night at 6:00 and then again on Thursday morning at 9:00!
