Tuesday morning, September 23rd - Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

Play started on the outdoor courts at 9:00 with two courts busy which quickly turned into three. It was great to welcome Scott back. He told me he took a break from pickleball to play baseball this summer. Susan was back, and is up to playing two games... wonderful to see her shoulder is getting better. She even mentioned that she was out last evening also!

Bruno was back, but does not know how regular he can be due to his work schedule. Great to have him out when he can! One game to report on was when Bruno and Eudora teamed up against Monique and myself. The game went into overtime and finished at 14-12 in a tightly fought match. In the last game of the morning, that was finished just before the rain became too much for play saw Magi and I taking a commanding lead versus Bruno and Scott, only to see them come back to make the game close at 11-9.

I realize Paul reported on play at Salem last night, but I also have a short report sent to me by Saeed: "Tonight (Monday) was the first session at Salem Elementary School. Rahil and I arrived very late. There were six players on the courts: Angela, Lisa, Arsh, Gary Agnes, and Jill. Susan and Marc had already left befroe we arrived. Agnes and Jill left soon after, so I didn't have the opportunity to play with them. Play continued until 10pm on one court, while practice was happening another. In the last game, Lisa and Rahil played against Gary and Arsh. All the best, Saeed"

Next scheduled play for Tantramar Pickleball is tomorrow, Wednesday evening at 8:00 at the Salem gym and then on Thursday morning at the MTA gym at 9:00... Thanks goes to Paul and the town (Matt and Jessica) for the ongoing support of pickleball in town!
