Friday Afternoon, August 1st - Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

This is the start of Sackville's Sappyfest and the preparations are well underway. Hopefully everyone can get a chance to enjoy some or all that the weekend has to offer.

We played today from 1pm until almost sometime after 3pm. Jon and Cindy joined in for their last bit of pickleball fun before heading back to New Mexico on Saturday. Jon told me that he and Cindy are playing in a tournament in Tennessee on their way home. Good luck to you both and safe travels!

We used the 4 courts for a while with about 18 players, the numbers dropped quickly and we settled in on 3 courts with everyone getting lots of play time. The last game I saw had Larry and Magi up against Cindy and Terry - not sure who won but taking a wild guess, I think that Cindy and Terry may have come out on top, no offence to Larry and Magi.

We play again Saturday morning at 9am, and then Monday evening.
