Friday Afternoon, July 25th - Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

When I arrived at the courts shortly after 1:00 there were two courts busy, so I warmed up with a young visiter. Come to find out he was from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec and was visiting with his grandmother, Anne Miller who is part of the table tennis group in town! Anne did boast that Elias (14) was a good pickleball player, and she was right! He was there with his younger brothers Aurele and Achille. The younger two being content to hit the ball back and forth by themselves. Father, Jacob soon joined us and with rotations play continued past 3:30 when I left. The family is visiting for at least a week and we look forward to having them join in with our group at the usual Tantramar Pickleball times!

In the first game with Elias, I believe we battled Eudora and Larry with Elias contributing to many of the points... I was having so much fun, I forgot to write down scores but I do remember playing with Logan in a tightly fought game versus Elias and Eudora... Logan had to leave, but we had plenty to continue play on two courts with Catherine, Richard, Terry, Ash, Gary, Chris, Eudora and Larry... Eudora and Larry, feeling the heat left for some ice cream just before 3:00... Marc was a late arrival and was fast to get into the games! When I left, play was still going on!

Next playtime is tomorrow, Saturday 9-12 at the outdoor courts. Pickle On!
