Friday afternoon, Sept 19th - Outdoor Courts

It rained in the morning, but the courts were mostly dry by play time at 1PM.  Susan, Debbie, Thomas & Pam showed up to play.  Susan, the most compliant patient I ever heard of, played just the one game as her therapist recommended.  Next week she's cleared for full play.  She and Debbie took on Thomas & I and despite an early lead they came from behind and won the game.  After Susan left, we played some 3 player games and the dinking game.  It is just Thomas' second time playing, but he is catching on really fast and will no doubt be a force to contend with soon enough.  Steve rode past on his bicycle, but never stopped.  Around 2PM, Ash & Gary joined us and we had some spirited games.  Thomas had to leave, so Debbie & I paired up and we split a pair of games with them.  For the rubber match they blew us out of the water.  By the time we left, the sun was shining, the winds were calm and it was a gorgeous day.  We hope we will get a good turnout for tomorrow at 9AM.
