Monday, April 14 @ Salem Gym

Hi All,

We had twenty players out at the Salem Gym with many players I have never met since I usually curl on Monday nights... Great to see so many out and having great rallies and play. Charlene, Lisa's sister was back out and she showed great form! Also, Chris was back out returning from down under with a skin colour most of us Canadians do not have this time of year! Fred brought Karen with him, another good player we had the fortune to welcome out!

Dan, Dawn, Kirk, Lisa, Saeed, Rahil, Gary, Alan, Ges, Jass, Jeff, Ash, Prabh, Heather and Sheilah round out the group! I am trying to win the prize for listing everyone who was there. How did I do?

Play started at 7:30 with the final two games ending up close to 10:30, with one court of mens and another court of womens... In the court of Womens saw Rahil and Karen battling back from an early deficit ultimately winning 11-7 versus Charlene and Lisa... In the Mens court Fred and I partnered up versus Saeed and Ash. Fred and I tried out some stacking strategy to ultimately overcoming some strong shots from Saeed and Ash to seal victory. Might be a mistake on my part to give Fred another weapon in his arsenal to his game???

I also gave Fred the heads up to a free Ice Cream at Trueman Blueberry Farms today! Ice Cream to celebrate???

With the Mount A gym still closed, the next pickleball time will be at Salem tomorrow night then back at the Mount A gym on Thursday morning, April 17...
