Monday, April 28 at the Salem Gym

Hi All,

Tonight, 19 players showed up, including 8 good players from Amherst. We started at 7:30pm and played until 10:20pm. There were many exciting games and rallies. Because it was a busy night, we decided to stack paddles and play to 9 points. After each game, four players left and were replaced by new ones. Toward the end, as the number of players decreased, we returned to the regular rotation rules.

In the final two games, on one court, Rahil and Kirk played against Lisa and Dan (11-8), and on the other court, Dave and I played against Gary and Ash (11-5).

Tonight, I watched a few games that Kirk played. He hit several impressive forehand topspin drives that were difficult for his opponents to return. Well played, Kirk!

Play continues at the Mount A gym Tuesday morning then again at the Salem gym on Wednesday evening! Pickle On!
