Monday evening, July 14 at Outdoor Courts

Hello Everyone,

Just a short writeup on our play tonight. Again there were so many out, play rotated with so many players, I cannot cover all the different players there! Four courts were busy from about 6:00 until the time I left, which was about 8:30... And there were between 6 and 8 waiting at times. Probably could have shorten some games to reduce sitting times, but everything seemed to flow pretty well! A few newer players out, so everyone trying to make everyone welcome... Because of the crowd, I was not able to chat with everyone, so don't think that I am stuck up (or shy???)... Never been accused of that???

One shot I must report on was with Fred on the short end of the rally. He tapped the ball softly over the net to me, and he was in a very vulnerable position and I just tapped the ball softly back at him from about two feet away, winning the rally. I have been scored upon by this technique but it was my first time using it for a point!

Play continues tomorrow morning at 9:00!
