Monday evening, July 7th on Outdoor Courts

Hi all,

I arrived at about 6:30 to see all courts active, so I and a few others were on the sidelines for a very short time, and play rotated very well! There were so many new to me players out that I felt like I was at another group. ALL GOOD! I thought I would remember more names when I got home, but some not so regulars included Duane, Barbra, Angela, and a few I cannot recall names... There were so many. I must take notes from now on. But some left early and more entered to keep at least 4 or 5 ready to join in from the bench!

I did get to play with and against Angela, and then also Betty Jo... She being the pride of the Embree pickleball clan. Betty Jo and I fell just short to Angela and Ash, with Angela being the difference maker! Four courts continued until close to 9:00...

The last game saw Rahil and Saeed battling back versus Ash and myself, and the game might have turned out different if the final lob point hadn't been missed!

Hopefully the weather stays dry for outdoor play tomorrow morning!
