Saturday morning, July 5th on Outdoor Courts

Hi,

Throughout the morning we had 15-18 players coming and going and we were able to keep 3 courts busy until 12ish.  I left about 12:15 and 2 courts were still in play.  The morning was cloudy which kept the temperature reasonable and the wind was just strong enough to give you an excuse if you missed a shot.

John Power stopped by with pup, Brody.  John had knee surgery a couple of months ago and he is doing great, but is hesitant to push his luck by getting back into pickleball.  I can certainly understand that, but we do miss him, and he'll be welcomed back whenever he is ready.  

Catherine and Brunel were back and their games are improving nicely.  In no time they will be giving us tips as we try to catch up to them!

You know me, I don't keep track of any game scores but I did see some very long , hard fought rallies.  The level of play in our group is impressive.  That's why it is so much fun.  Great friends and great games.  What more can we ask for? The only thing I can think of is if more players show up to play.  If you have been out for a while, dust off the paddle and get back in the game...your friends are anxiously awaiting your return!!!

Our next play is Monday evening at 6:00PM and then Tuesday morning at 9:00AM we hope to see you there!!!....Pam
