Thursday morning, July 17th on Outdoor Courts

It was probably the muggiest day of the play so far this year, but 17 players showed up for some sweaty fun. June played with us today while visiting family in Sackville.  Janice has been a regular this week, but alas she has to return to PEI.  It is great to have other Maritime visitors play with us.  Gaelan was out today as well.  We hope he'll make it a regular appearance  with school out, but Gus keeps him pretty busy, so we'll see.  The last games were a set of three with Pam & Bruno challenging Jocelyn and Gaelan.  P & B edged a win in the first game and J & G came back with a strong win in the second game, so as tired and sweaty as we all were we had to have the rubber match.  P & B were victorious.  By that time it was  a few minutes before noon so we called it a day!
