Thursday morning, July 31st - Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

We played today from 9am until about 11:30am with about 18 players on the courts. Cy's son Jonathan and his wife Cindy joined in again today - they are tough opponents but great to have as a partner. They are leaving on Saturday heading back to New Mexico, and driving all the way (about 4100 km). So if they do show up Friday afternoon for a last few games let them both win - we wouldn't want them driving all that way in a pi#@%d off mood. If we don't see them - safe travels Jon and Cindy, and we look forward to seeing you both again next year.

We were also joined by a Ivan (I think that's his name) from Quebec who is visiting and is extending his time here because he loves to play with us (not the only reason - he's waiting while his car gets repaired). He is a fabulous player and I watched a singles game between Ivan and Jon - I got wore out just watching - great play guys!

The last game had Fred and Cindy playing against Jon and Steve - quite a battle with Jon and Steve coming out on top (I think?) .

We play again Friday afternoon at 1pm.
