Thursday morning, July 3rd on Outdoor Courts

Hi All,

Another great day in Sackville with sunny skies, warm (hot) weather and light winds. We had about 17 folks out using 3 of the courts. Brian (our beginner from July 1st) was back and had his lucky pants on - a hole in one knee, and a t-shirt that had Russian lettering on it. Something tells me that it was best that I couldn't decipher it. Our good old friend Gaelen showed up later in the session and got right into the fray.

It got quite hot and all the water bottles were drained rather quickly. We played until noon, as Pam and I were leaving there was still a game going on with Dan and Lisa up against Gaelen and a young fellow (I forget his name), they were having lots of fun. I don't know how the score turned out - but I'm sure it didn't really matter.

I was informed by the Town today that they have removed our nets and balls from the MTA gym and will be storing them until next Fall. FYI, this was not at my request.

We play again on Friday afternoon at 1pm. The weather is a little bit questionable, so for those coming from out of town, check the weather first - hopefully it will be OK. There is a slight chance of an occasional shower. Then on Saturday we start at 9am.
