Hi All,

We had four courts set up for pickleball today with a few on the bench ready to enter play, so about 19 or 20 out. Play rotated very well as usual, with so many regulars that keeps play so much fun! It was great to have Mount A students Ben and Rebecca able to get out. Don't tell their professors why they skipped class... Oh, right this is posted in the public domain, so sorry about that... I did get to to play with and against them, and do not give Ben a soft shot or he will smash it past you!

In the last game of the day saw Lisa and I battling with Fred and Jocelyne. Although we had a number of great rallies, we fell short.

I was advised of a number of games that required overtime to achieve victory today, but we must post the result of the battle between Pam and I versus Monique and Debbie... it required a lot of rallies and much more time than a regular game which saw Pam and I scrap away down 10 to 8 for numerous game point serves, ultimately tying it up and eventually coming out on top 14-12... In another game playing against Pam this time, I made a GREAT lob deep into her court that she tracked down and struck a winner, ticking the net with the ball I could not reach!

Unfortunately, play was cancelled last night at Salem, but next play will be tomorrow night at Salem and again at the Mount A gym on Thursday morning. Pickle on!
