Friday afternoon, May 16th @ MTA Gym

Hi All,

We played today from 1pm until about 3:45pm with 5 courts in action and 23 folks in attendance. As far as having any new players, I could count myself as the newbie. I have been out of commission since late February and I came back knowing that everyone would be so kind and gentle since I could hardly remember the rules. Well, so much for that, I was tossed into the fray and had to battle hard. If that was taking it a bit easy, boy am I in trouble next week!

The last few games had Saeed and I up against Bruno and Pam - tough game - but we managed a 11 - 7 win. Another one pitted Frank and Kirk against Jill and Terry. T & J pulled off a 11 - 8 victory, and Frank said that Kirk carried his team with Frank only getting credit for 1 of their points, so T & J don't get too cocky - poor Kirk was playing 1 against 3 according to Frank! There was still 1 game going on as Pam and I left. Frank and Bruno were down 2 to 5 against Saeed and Jill - I'm sure they aren't too happy about that, battle on!!

Our next session is Tuesday morning at MTA, Monday is a Holiday.
