Friday afternoon, May 30 @ MTA Gym

Hi all

We had four courts set up today starting at 1:00 o'clock with a couple more ready to join in, so about 18 or so players. I saw many of the regular Friday players and more, and the play was its usual lively competition! I wore a special t-shirt to help our friend Dan celebrate his birthday, but he was a no show! Happy Birthday Dan... and when playing with Eudora, she said she approved of my t-shirt, so it is great to have another Maple Leaf fan enjoying the colours of the Montreal Canadiens! And talking of birthdays, our leader Paul has a birthday on Sunday, so the next time you see him don't say he looks older, just wish him belated Happy Birthday!!!

Play continued just past 3:00 o'clock with two courts still busy... Terry and Saeed battled Kelly and Richard well into overtime to notch a 15-13 victory...WOW And in the last game of the day I talked Terry to partner up with me where we lost in an exciting contest with Ash and Saeed 11-6 (but the game was closer than the score may show???).

Next play is tomorrow morning, weather permitting at the outdoor courts from 9:00 to 12:00, then at Salem gym on Monday evening, and at the MTA gym on Tuesday morning...
