Hi All,
We have missed publishing the last few session reports – I have been a bit under the weather, but no fear, I'm back on the courts. Anyway, maybe a hiatus from the ramblings has been a good thing – maybe I should stop all the rambling, maybe I should just be quiet, maybe I should change my ways, maybe I should end these reports, maybe I should just relax at home, speaking of relaxing – wasn't this a wonderful day today with a bit of sun and a warmer temperature. Speaking of temperatures – boy wasn't it some cold a few days ago. My mom, and come to think of it – Justin Trudeau, used to say "Sunny Days" ahead. Maybe that's not a great example! Anyway, enough of that – no wait did you hear that the Trade War is on hold for a month, boy – am I relieved, but I didn't think it would happen like that anyway – they will get it sorted out soon I hope – but if they don't will we still be able to get the Mexican avocados by boat or plane? So many questions, so little time! I could go on and on, but I said that I wouldn't ramble on so I won't bore you with any unnecessary information – except to say that "Times – They Are a-Changin' ". Would you like Page 2 now?
Just kidding, we had about 29 folks out today and played from 1pm until 3pm. We had set up 6 courts and at 3pm there were still 3 games going when we had to shut them down to make way for the men's basketball practice session. So, I don't have any specific final scores to report. We had several young players (anyone under 30 is very young to me) join in which is fabulous, and they all played very well. This is one of the really nice things about our sport – regardless of your age/skill level, everyone gets in some exercise and has lots of fun too!
Our next session is Monday evening at Salem, and then Tuesday morning at MTA.
Take care,
Paul
