Thursday morning, May 15 - MTA Gym

Hi all

We had five courts up today starting at 9:00, so about 20 or so players! It was good to have Jocelyne back. She seemed well rested from her trip to Cancun... Must plan some pickleball there sometime??? We welcomed Brian out. I did not get too much information about him, but I the good fortune play him. Another strong player for our group!

We enjoyed having to not use the cardboard to stop balls from rolling under the curtain with the extra trim added! Thank you Mount A! (and thank you to Pam for taking the cardboard away!)

Play rotated quite well, with some talk about about the Pickleball Playtime

Scheduler lead by Fred! If you wish a quick lesson, I am sure he will be glad to help. Also, new Committee Member, Tim Hicks has put Pickleball times in Sackville on the Playtime Scheduler! So check it out!

In the last games of the morning saw a Ladies game and a Mens game. I did not get a review of the Ladies game, but since I was playing in the Mens, Tim and I fell just short in the first game versus Fred and Bruno, 11-8. They suggested a rematch, but we mixed up the teams with Bruno and I battling for victory in overtime 12-10 versus Tim and Fred.

Our next scheduled time is tomorrow at 1:00 at the Mount A gym. Pickle on!
