Wednesday evening, May 7 @ Salem Gym

Only 10 players came out on Wednesday night to the gym. Two courts were used full-time, while one court was reserved for practice. Two newish-players showed up to challenge the veterans. Dan and Simon, both university students at Dal, came to play and quickly got the hang of it and made some excellent shot decisions. Their first game didn't go so well with a 11-2 loss to Agnes and myself, a veteran team (Nice welcome, guys!). But they learned from their mistakes and had competitive games with Heather,Sheila, and Tim, to name a few. Alan and Kirk also had to battle some tough opponents but were well prepared. Lisa showed up towards the end and exerted her presence on the court quickly. The last game of the evening pitted Dan and Lisa against Heather and Josh. Can't remember the exact score, but fun was had by all as we closed down the gym. If Simon and Dan continue to play regularly, then look out! I heard some whispers that they plan to show up on Friday!
